Highlights of 2023

had a wonderful premiere of Rain Patterns by Cras Ensemble in Berlin, and performances in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
had about 18 minutes of fame performing Trois Mondes with the organist Susanne Kujala at Elbphilharmonie, where she gave an organ recital for a sold out hall.
was in residency at Konstepidemin in Gothenburg 5.-29.9. Gave a lecture and presentation of my work at the residency.
was in residency at Centre Henri Pousseur 17.-21.10. creating a new work in collaboration with flutist Sofia Gantois, coached a chamber music workshop at the Royal Concervatoire in Liège on Kaija Saariaho’s music.
had a dream come true moment, when Ensemble L’Itinéraire conducted by Miguel Pèrez Iñesta premiered Mobiles at IRCAM in November. While I met some new friends and had the chance to reconnect with old, it felt quite sad to visit Paris after the passing of one of its most creative minds Kaija Saariaho.
had a wonderful premiere by Trio WAS at the Rainy Days Festival in Luxembourg. The festival seems like a hidden gem with lots of concerts sparkling with a treasure trove of diversity.
have been busy composing a new piano concerto, some chamber music and preparing for the premiere of Olotiloja - a 30min piece in collaboration with the circus artist Aino Savolainen to be premiered at the Hiljaisuus Festival 2024.
added another year as a lecturer at the University of the Arts, Sibelius Academy, department of Music and Technology
